This is a slightly new style for me, as I used the acrylic paint more like a watercolour or stain to really bring out the grain of the wood. The painting was inspired by a picture taken by my cousin at their fishing and guiding lodge on Tazin Lake in northern Saskatchewan. I haven’t been myself but judging by the pictures if you like fishing for pike it’s the place to go! My cousin and the crew will take you out and show you where the best spots are and they will lodge you and feed you!
