Painting nature brings me a quiet joy and a steady calm: the rhythm of brushstrokes and the soft blending of colours mirror the gentle patterns I find outdoors, and each finished piece feels like a small, tangible breath. I hope that sense of peace comes through to the viewer, that a painted leaf or sky can pause a busy moment and offer a reminder of something enduring and beautiful. More than decoration, my work aims to hold a thread of hope — that noticing the details of the natural world can reconnect us to simple truths and offer comfort when we need it most.
